Yes, the only problem is that the bezel gets knicked up really easily due to the plastic construction. The actual watch is carbon fiber, the bezel is the only part that is cheap plastic.
Looks like a nice watch; i’m looking into buying this one, is it worth the $250?

Yes, this is a common problem on Luminox watches. My plain 3051 (not Blackout) has this problem.

Previous watches I’ve owned always seem to give up and begin retaining water after a while. They supposedly are 200m water resistant . Do you think this might be due to never taking them off and continuously wearing them in the shower, swimming with them on, and pretty much never taking them off? I am on the verge of purchasing a Luminox 3051 BO from ebay but I first want to make sure if I am going to have to take it easy on this watch. Do you normally take it off before shower or when swimming?

Any scratches yet? It has been over a year since you got it. I have had mine for a month and a half and, thank god, don’t have any scratches.

I have had this watch(the plain 3051, not the Blackout version) for two weeks now and have not taken it off! There are a few things I would change though: replace the old tritium tubes with new ones, as mine did not have decent illumination in the blue tubes; change to a sapphire window and coat the interior with an anti-reflective coating, and maybe get a black metal wristband to go with it.

Is it me or does it look like the second hand doesn’t quite line up with the second hand markers? Can you confirm this?

@goodwrench838 sorry for the delay, I was away for awhile. I have the watch for almost a year and it still going strong, and I bang it up a lot.
@skytrain47 Not 100% sure, but I don’t think so. Impact resistant I think.. I’ve banged it around quite a bit, and it still works.

Really nice watch a wanna buy one, i have choice, i could buy this the 3051 BO or the normal 3051 with black clock face but i want this, one guy at the sotre had them and they looked really good, on the classic 3051 is too much of white or another color, but on this its just enough, and for 220Euros its not the worst buy. I just now can not recognize that with strap is better, the rubber or the nato style strap… nice watch really
Just wish it had a sapphire crystal.
