Q&A: Kenneth Cole watch Condensation under the glass face of my Kenneth Cole watch! Warrenty?
Question–: Condensation under the glass face of my Kenneth Cole watch! Warrenty?
My watch is said to be water resistant! If so why is there so much condesation inside? I can’t even tell the time? I’ve had it one week and stupidly took it swiming to test the water resistance on it…They claim it works as long as you are in cool water and don’t go over 30m under…it shouldn’t be my fault right?

No ,take it back to the store I’m sure it still on warranty… You can’t tell them what you did with it because they will find something to say it was your fault. I think it was a bad idea to do what you did….bd

I’d return it to the place I bought it from and get a refund. If it’s good for 30m, then it should have been fine in any swimming pool.

should be covered sounds like either the bezel or the crystal has a crack in it

ok, I bought a gucci watch and this happened to me bathing the dog. What you should try first is pulling the little arm on the side of the watch out, you know the one that you have to pull to twist around to adjust the hands on the face, and leave it like that over night. This can help by breaking the air tight seal just enough for air to get in and dry it out quicker. This helped for my watch to dry, but then the battery needed be changed, so I took it in to get a new battery and clean the water-spotted/smudged glass.
If this doesn’t work, then just take it in and try to claim it under warranty, I mean the worst they can tell you is ‘no’ and make you pay or the best is they will fix it for you..
