Of course it doesn’t fly to the Moon! The Lunar Module didn’t fly to the Moon itself, that’s why the Saturn V was made! This is just the LANDER, it would be boosted into orbit and to the Moon by a larger rocket.

What do you mean it doesn’t fly to the moon? Then how does the rocket make it into orbit then? You aren’t making sense, did you leave out a sentence by accident? My weekend scientists club and I have calculated this 10 times now, there simply is no way THIS ROCKET IN THE VIDEO CAN GET INTO ORBIT!! It simply hasn’t enough fuel. Oh, and you don’t have to be all mean to me. I’m just trying to make science friends here. So, I forgive you, my friend.

That was one brave dude running out there with the fire extinguisher after landing and engine shutdown. You could see the lander oscillate vertically in the hover.

Right, you mean it’s to land on the moon, right? Like I said, the scientists I spoke with who were part of this project said it cannot even get itself to the moon.
This rocket is designed to be a lander, not a lifter. An even bigger rocket will lift a lander like this to space. Then the lander will land on something.

Anyways, this thing is not as good as it looks, I asked if it could lift up a 5 ton satellite into orbit and they said no and THAT IT CANNOT EVEN GET INTO OBIT by itself…soooo, I guess that closes down this project pretty fast. Shame too cuz it was looking pretty good for a bit there.

I’v always admired the the falcon for its maneuverablility but I didn’t know the goshawk had these skills.. it just might be my new favorite bird. we have hawks in missouri but idk if they can do this .
