Well, it’s actually the Connexions office but formerly the Barclays building (the Barclay’s logo is still visible).

It was chosen to film a scene of the BBC ONE drama series Waterloo Road (the episode aired on BBC ONE on Wednesday 28th September 2011) and became a borstal on the show……hence the title.

Though filmed and set in Rochdale, this is in Wythenshawe, some 22 miles south of where it’s based…….literally round the corner from my gaff!!
