I can’t do much more than pray that the world around me will open it’s eyes and see Jesus. This is a senseless act of crime and I cry out for these lost lives. The lost destinies….. Please watch this and if nothing else be practical. Learn that this world isn’t the safe ahven ot once seemed to be. If not now then when we will wake up and get a clue? When are we going to realize that everything goes is notan option. It is just a gateway to this tye of hell? We are not hear to be foolish. We are here to love God and love others. Love does not include hate, murder, crime, rape, lies, robbery, gangs, drugs, broken families, etc etc etc.
Those are the antithesis of love. Please it is time for the blood bought saints of the ONLY LIVING GOD to proclaim from the church house to the white house- WE NEED… WE WANT GOD IN AMERICA, IN OUR LIFE, IN OUR WORLD AGAIN
And please this is not the time for ignorant and racy responses. This is a time for peronal reflection if nothing else. You don’t have to agree with me on God but you have got to agree that this act of murder was complete and utter horror. Please don’t make this a question for your arguing….
Lord Ironshaft you got my point but you missed the bigger point in a way. My biggest point in posting this article was a sense of grief and as a wake up for common sense. Why have we let society get this bad? Is “everything goes or we’ll stifle something” really necessary?

Its a poor lost souls sick twisted way of making himself feel good by taking the lives of others. But dont despair. Hopefully those friends all had a good life and are going to heaven. We cannot force our beliefs on others through the use of times like these. We must let them find there own way to god through our actions not our pressuring ways. I see your point and this article is touching. I hope one day maybe there will come a time when the morals in the bible are upheld

If parents taught their children empathy, compassion, honesty and a love of truth and knowledge the world would be much nicer than seeing it through the cloudly haze of the worlds competing religions. Ever considered the least religious countries have the highest social justice systems and least crime and poverty….. just something to ponder.

If you want “God” in your life, your welcome to him. God, religion, and mythology have no place in the White House or government at large.

That is sad and wrong, but the world has always been like this. Humans just used different weapons 5000 or even 10,000 years ago. Animals have the same violence, it’s nature. It’s life, watch the Discovery Channel. We’re no more violent than before, and no more violent than the other animals are, it’s just that now there are more humans so you see it more often.
And it’s not lack of religion– people know what’s right and wrong without religion– I know that I do. Please don’t have your religion dictate my life, that too is just as wrong as killing and rape. What about all the people that aren’t Christian? Think of other religios, they’re just as important. You can’t make America follow Christian ideals because a lot of us aren’t Christian. This isn’t a dictatorship.
Not to mention, religion has killed more people that anything else, and we sure don’t need it in our government. Bush is alreayd saying he’s killing innocent kids in Iraq because of God, and everyone accepts it. That’s horrible too. Religion doesn’t make peace, individuals who are peaceful promote peace.

I want to have a faster block start what can i do to get a faster block start i am 5 foot 8 and i should have a good start what technique or anything i could do to get it faster please and is there any video i can watch that can help please help?!?!

Look into Plyometrics training if you arent doing something like that already. Plyos are a great way to improve explosive strength and help you get out of the blocks. Also, increasing your overall leg strength will allow for more power to be generated. Dont be afraid to squat and deadlift. With solid form and a good plan, you will add strength without losing speed.

Build more leg strength. Squats, lunges etc.
Make sure you are not coming straight up out of the blocks. If you are there is no sense in using them. The point of the blocks is to push off strong and get a good jump. Practice coming out of the blocks low. You should be pushing out straight ahead down the track, not pushing up toward the sky.
Also, while you are practicing this, you want to be practicing moving at the first sound of the gun. You can practice both over and over because you only need to take four or five steps out of the blocks. Just have a friend say go to simulate the gun

People are animal that’s it, this is the world, God in America will do nothing, throughout time people have killed in the name of god, so called holy crusades, burning people accused of heresy. far worse things have been done in the name of god so don’t think that god will fix everything.
This country is turning to hell,we might as well be right up there with Mexico,Our world is going down hill fast.I’ve been watching CNN news the past few months and I cant believe all the sad stories Ive been hearing lately.

Just an observation.
Put energy and effort into what you want to succeed in this world.
If energy is put into the negative, it expands the negative.
If energy is put into the positive, it expands the positive.
I understand you sentiments, but I hold on to what I perceive to be true and real, give no energy to that that is false and a trap.
Love God will all your heart.
It will set you free, from all that is the unlove.
Put effort into love.
Love will prevail.
God will have his way in the world.
But it is largely white, right wing Christians who fight in favour of the gun laws that lead to this. So in a very real sense, this sort of thing happens DIRECTLY because of Christianity. It is atheists not theists who fight for gun control!
If you want people to stop shooting each other, stop selling them guns. Its far more effective that worthless paryers.
I agree with you. This is a very sad situation. This is further proof that Satan is the ruler of this earth, just as the Bible foretold. It won’t be that way forever. Jesus will return!!!! Gods own Son was tortured and murdered. How can we expect much less? I hope these students knew the Lord and are enjoying Heaven with Him. Things are always darkest before the dawn. Things will get better.

As others have indicated, the Christian Right put Bush and the Republican Congress in power for the last 6 years, and the Republican government could have spent the $500 Billion in the home land and we would all be a lot safer. I live in a violent neighborhood. I don’t work in an office tower or fly on business. I’m not affraid of some terrorist attack. I fear getting robbed or caught in the cross fire FAR more then bin Laden. I fear I might be one of the 18,000 Americans who die each year because they lack health care (that’s 6 9/11′s each year).
Look at the $500 billion our government has spent on what Newt Gingrich calls a “Phony War”. A war that we were lied into. How many lives could we have saved at home, in Newark, DC, New Orleans, Minnesota, Utah, Boston, etc, if we spent HALF that?
If Christians *really* want to do something to improve this country. Stop buying into the fake fear Bush/Cheney has been selling us for six years and vote as a block for people that care about improving the lives of Americans, protecting them from the real dangers of guns, substandard health care, poverty, poor education, and sexual and reproductive health here in America.
Dont you think that even God is disappointed athis act? Yes He is more disappointed to see many ppl still not Received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.

There is peace in a world full of tribulation… Jesus DIED to overcome these violent acts. Yes, we are to have a heart for the world and others. It’s okay to weep with those who weep. But joy comes in the morning!!
Let’s back up for a moment and think about life without Jesus. What if Jesus had never come to earth, had never taught precious truths that lead to peace and happiness? What if He had not died for our sins on Calvary and had not resurrected on that first Easter morning?
Ephesians 2:12 says that without Christ, we are aliens and strangers, ”having no hope and without God in the world.” If Christ had not come, we would have no hope of returning to God’s presence. There would be no trail blazed, no pathway marked, no doors opened. The grave would be the end. Chaos, anxiety, and fear would pervade the world even more than it already does. We simply would have no hope without Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many in this world do not accept Him or do not know Him, and thus live lives as if Jesus had never come — in hopelessness, despair and fear of what lies beyond the portal of death, and confused about how to find true happiness and peace in this life.
When Jesus says He overcame the world, He means He overcame sin and death. He did this in a very real and personal way ”for we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” (Heb. 4: 15)
”Christ has overcome the world — our world — and His gift to us is peace now and exaltation in the world to come. Our fundamental requirement is to have faith in Him and follow Him — always. When He bids us to walk in His way and by His light, it is because He has walked this way before us, and He has made it safe for our own travel here. He knows where the sharp stones and stumbling blocks lie hidden and where thorns and thistles are the most severe. He knows where the path is perilous, and He knows which way to go when the road forks and nightfall comes.” (Jeffrey R. The fundamental tool for overcoming the world is to have faith enough in Jesus Christ to follow Him and to trust that His path, although rather plain looking, is truly the path to happiness and peace. ”For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1 John. 5: 4)
Jesus lives and He loves you. He has so much peace and happiness in store for you if you can muster the courage to walk away from the worldly path and take the leap of faith to follow Him and let Him light your way. He has given you your freedom of choice, your talents, and your abilities to succeed. No one is predestined to fail. He marked the path. He set the example. Follow Him to safety, happiness and peace.
