Luminox watch –: What kind of watch should I get my husband for Fathers Day?
He is 27 years old, we have 2 kids (a 2 1/2 yr old and an 8 month old), he works nights as a paramedic and he used to be a firefighter (he will be returning to the field once an opportunity comes available) and this is his first watch. He doesn’t wear any jewelry, he dresses casual most of the time in carpenter style shorts and t-shirts from Old Navy and stuff and he has expressed an interest before in Luminox watches. I don’t want to spent more then 0. Please help!!

Question–: Looking for a new watch?
right now, i have an old g-shock and a formal looking swatch. i was looking for a new watch. i like analog watches because they look kinda more classy and subtly elegant (plus i have a solar-recharging g shock). i was looking for a low-profile everyday watch. i was considering a luminox watch, but was deterred by the price. i was also looking at some sime nixon watches. ideally, i’d like a watch like one my grandpa gave me as a kid (we buried it with him since it used to be his). it was a military looking watch with a thin cloth wrist strap and plain look. kind of like ones i see soldiers in wwii and vietnam wearing. kinda like this one nttp://img.skitch.com/20081102-ph6whhe5abyks853c2dxp4ktjk.preview.jpg. any suggestions on otjer durable and reliable watches? which should i choose?
