Question–: What’s a good brand of watch that last a long time?
I purchased a citizen eco drive a year ago and it stopped working. When i went to get a battery I found out that the mechanism died and it would cost over 125 to fix it… I want another brand. Whats a good watch to buy that will last?

Many good brands last long time but cost much money, I know someone have 1893 Patek Philippe, 1902 Vacheron Constantin, 1915 IWC, 1952 LeCoultre, 1970 Omega, 1979 Piaget, all keep time well, Citizen watches usually good, Seiko good too, if you want cheap watches, can try Bulova, Hamilton, Casio, Swatch.

Did a search for the eco drive watch. Whoa that’s a beaut. I guess my cheapie digital watch isn’t something I’d recommend after all.

Price is not always the best indication of quality. I own two Fossil wristwatches that cost 0 – 0 each, and I have been very impressed with them. I have had the one for 6 years and the other for 5 years. They keep time well, and although they do take a battery, it generally lasts a couple of years. They are scratch-resistant and they come with a lifetime warranty. I think their men’s styles are pretty slick too.
